The Bow & Arrow cattle are a high quality, high altitude, highly adaptable Balancer type herd. It normally consists of 700 head of mother cows and bred heifers. The herd grazes on alfalfa, corn stubble, and triticale during the winter, and spring calving seasons. During the late spring months the herd are transported to various mountain grazing allotments, where they will spend the summer.
Management of the Bow & Arrow herd is always trying to stay at the front lines of success. We maintain an all-natural status as well as third party traceability, which allows the cattle to be utilized in many different markets. We strive to advance our staff training along; with attending other seminars. We also host an annual symposium that offers livestock training to employees and the surrounding communities. The Bow & Arrow cattle have earned its right at being a sought after female replacement herd as well!
